The cottages both enjoy views over the river and hills. Quite often you can sit and watch aerial displays as Eagles and Crows battle for the skies. Strangely, it is the Eagles who often lose ground.
There are otters down near the river, but notoriously shy, consider yourself lucky if you see them. Highland Cattle graze the hills opposite; and you might even see Red Deer silhouetted against the skyline.
This is an idyllic place to call home on your Hebridean holiday. Offering peace and tranquility, yet within driving distance of both Lewis and Harris and all they have to offer.
